Harry Styles' representative claimed he'd “never heard of” Lily Halpern but now the US singer has come clean about spending time with him.
Now magazine report Lily, 19, who joined One Direction as a support act on Big Time Rush's US tour, says she and 18-year-old Harry “tease each other” and have been texting each other since he left for Australia.
Lily said: “He's a really, really great guy.
“We've hung out in New York a few times - where I live and where he was staying.
“We watched movies and chilled out - one night we watched Flubber.”
The pretty brunette has “no comment” to make about kissing Harry, though she admits she's “heard of” his 32-year-old ex-girlfriend Caroline Flack.
One Direction supporters have been quizzing Lily about the rumours of a romance on Twitter, but she insists that "music" is her boyfriend.
Lily Tweeted: "We're just friends as i've said lol. he has an amazing dedicated fan base, i wish we could all #respect eachother."
