Rihanna and Chris Brown have been slowly easing us into this reconciliation thing. And now, Rihanna’s brother is helping their cause.

“Rihanna and Chris were great together,” Rorrey Fenty said. “They were like soul mates, but it’s a very sensitive subject. I just blank it out and she blanks it out, too.”

Rorrey adds that if his sister looks depressed lately, it has nothing to do with her ex.

“When she looks unhappy, it’s not because of her missing Chris,” he says. “It’s because of how hectic her lifestyle is – she sometimes does 13-hour days.”

Rihanna and Chris first started sending cryptic tweets to each other. At the end of last year, Rihanna Tweeted: “I’ll always love u #1LOVE.”

Chris appeared to be responding when he Tweeted: “Love U more than u know!” People went ape sh-t. Then, Rihanna started stepping out with a Chris Brown look-alike, Dudley O’Shaughnessy. I guess she thought she could just pull the ol’ switcharoo and none of us would notice.

And then came the bombshell. Rihanna and Chris collaborated on two songs, and Rihanna spoke up about their reunion:

"I respect what other people have to say. The bottom line is that everyone thinks differently. It's very hard for me to accept, but I get it. People end up wasting their time on the blogs or whatever, ranting away, and that's all right. I don't hate them for it."

It's just a matter of time, people. And Rorrey says his sister does plan to settle down:

“She has talked to me about getting married and having children. She plans on settling down, but she wants to focus on her career.”
