He's the Grammy-winning geek in the pink, but now he's just plain geeked about his new fiancee. According to Us, singer-songwriter Jason Mraz, 33, just got engaged to fellow singer-songwriter Tristan Prettyman, 28.
The "I'm Yours" crooner, beloved by fans for his wordplay, tweeted three simple words on Christmas Eve: "SHE SAID YES."
Meanwhile, Prettyman also celebrated via Twitter on Dec. 24: "For once I am speechless...I did good! holy crap! man of my dreams!!! for the rest of my life!!!" She later added, "Still pinching myself...Holy crap. In other news we are camping and it's awesome. Christmas at the beach in the van! Yeayyaaaa!"
The aforementioned van is seen in this Twitpic posted by Mraz with the caption, "Wishing You and Yours a Happy Camper Christmas! Love from Me and TP and Ma & Pa Prettyman."
Mraz's bride-to-be is an avid surfer and former model born in California. The happy couple began dating when she played on one of his tours, and they reportedly got engaged -- then split -- in 2006 before reuniting this year.
'Life Is Good,' a live digital EP that went on sale in October, is Mraz's newest release -- and he certainly seems to be living up to the title heading into the new year.
