The producers of 'Glee' have paid homage to Lady Gaga before, but they're not done yet.
This weekend, EW.com learned from 'Glee' co-creator Ryan Murphy that the Grammy winner has granted
the hit series permission to create new material around her upcoming track, 'Born This Way,' which drops Feb. 13 (just days ago, her "little monsters" learned the release date via a much-hyped New Year's tweet). Gaga's new
song will reportedly pop up in an episode this "March or April."
And just how do writers plan to weave the proud, defiant lyrics into the McKinley High storyline? No spoiler alert necessary, but after the jump, find out which supporting character will be in the spotlight when 'Glee' celebrates 'Born This Way.'

In-the-closet bully Karofsky (Max Adler), who already terrified Kurt (Chris Colfer) into transferring schools, is expected to be a central figure in the plot. Not that anyone knows just how that menacing character and Gaga's uplifting tune fit together -- yet.
"I love that that song is anthem," says Murphy. "This show is, by nature, optimistic and I think a character like Karofsky could turn to booze, or pills, or alcohol, and kill themselves, or do something dark. But I also love Max, and I love that character, and I sorta want that character to have a happy ending. So I don't really know what that's going to be, but I do know we're going to do a whole episode that's about that song."
Still more exciting news for Gleeks: Gwyneth Paltrow, as reported last month, will indeed return this spring to hook up with Mr. Schue. "Gwyneth is coming back for two episodes," Murphy confirms to EW. "She's coming back specifically to date Will [Matthew Morrison].
Those two have become really good friends in real life, and had really good chemistry. She's coming back as a s*x education teacher. Gwyneth and I are emailing, talking every week: What are we gonna sing? We're trying to do something fantastic. So she'll be [in episodes] 15 and 16. She comes back [to film] in January, and she's with us for three and a half weeks, I think."
Finally, fans who miss the show's over-the-hill lush with a heart of platinum, April Rhodes, can look forward to Kristen Chenoweth reprising her Emmy-nominated guest role in an upcoming multi-episode arc.
