Hypothetical situation: You're a morning show anchor. As you tease your next guest before a commercial break, said guest crawls on set on his hands and knees and whinnies like a horse. What, pray tell, do you do?
If you're 'Today' veteran and consummate professional Matt Lauer, you get on that horse and ride (straight-faced, while finishing your line). That's actually what happened Thursday morning when Jim Carrey appeared on the show to promote his new film, 'Mr. Popper's Penguins.'
As Lauer was introducing the interview, Carrey came out a little early with horse routine (it kills with the under-5 set). Lauer didn't even bat an eye -- or stop his introduction -- as he mounted Carrey. "Come on, little Matty! Who's a cowboy?" Carrey encouraged as the two made their way across the studio floor.
