Whitney Houston must be somewhat turning in her grave, knowing that her only offspring and her lover Ray J never really got along. While they are both hurting right now, the two might find solace in talking with one another– but sources are quick to note that these two have never been very good friends.
Ray is still extremely distraught over Houston’s unexpected and ill-fated death, but there’s no changing the relationship that he and Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina had when she was alive. Sources have shared that the two, “absolutely didn’t get along. Ray thought Krissy was extremely disrespectful towards him and acted bratty. Whitney and Krissy would argue as any mother/daughter would, but Ray didn’t like the way she talked back to her mom. Ray really tried to meet Krissy halfway and have a relationship with her, but she just wasn’t interested. Ray understood that Krissy didn’t trust him, but she never gave him a chance.”
Though he’s agreed to see someone to talk about the sadness that he’s feeling, it’s too bad that the singer couldn’t just reach out to Whitney’s daughter in order to relieve some of the internal pains that he is going through, even more than a month after her death.
Too bad that some of these rifts will never be settled in the absence of the legendary singer. If anything has been taught through death and tragedy, it’s that everyone should be appreciated and try their best to get along during their short time here on earth.
