The world was devastated when she passed away back in February, but Whitney Houston lives on in a new trailer for her upcoming movie “Sparkle.”
Also starring “American Idol” babe Jordin Sparks, “Sparkle” is a remake of the original film,
released back in 1976.
The plotline, inspired by The Supremes, follows an aspiring group of female singers in Harlem,
NYC back in the ‘60s.
In the flick, Houston plays the mother of Sparks’ character, a singer who never quite made
it to the big time.
