Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster claimed in court recently that she never threatened to kill the R&B singer, and that she only threatened to “f**k him up.”

The ex couple are currently involved in a custody battle over their sons, and Usher’s attorney questioned Foster about alleged threatening behavior, in which she said that she may have threatened the singer, according to TaleTela.com.

“I did probably, out of anger, say ‘I will f**k you up,’” Foster replied to the attorney. Foster has also claimed throughout the custody battle that Usher is a dead-beat dad who uses drugs.

Foster is a stylist, and she and Usher were married in August 2007. They have two sons together, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond, and Usher filed for divorce in June 2009. At that time the singer claimed that the two had live separately for nearly a year.

Usher is getting ready to release his next album, Looking For Myself, on June 12. A single from the album, “Climax,” was released earlier this year, and was produced by Diplo. On the album, Usher also worked with Salaam Remi, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin and Max Martin, among others.
