The 33-year-old actress stepped out for the first time since she filed for divorce from her husband Tom Cruise. Katie seemed relaxed as she surfaced in New York City today, July 2 joined by security.
Wearing a blue shirt, Katie was smiling as if nothing went wrong with her life lately.
According to TMZ, Katie is in NYC to tape an episode of ‘Project Runway: All Stars’. Katie will be a guest judge. The show tapes at Parsons The New School of Design, whose fashion school is located in New York City. ‘Project Runaway: All Stars’ is a spin-off of the original Project Runway, which will begin airing its 10th season July 19.
Meanwhile her estranged husband Tom Cruise is in Iceland where he is filming a new movie.
Katie filed for divorce in New York City on June 28 after 5 years of marriage. The actress and 49-year-old Tom Cruise have a daughter, 6-year-old Suri.
According to sources, Katie filed for divorce because she believes Tom wants to introduce their daughter to a hardcore Scientology group known as Sea Org.
