Even if you think New Year's Eve is a silly holiday and don't care about watching the ball drop, you should at least stay up late to hear the latest news about Lady Gaga's new album, 'Born This Way.'
In a tweet to her Little Monsters on Christmas Day, Gaga told her fans to be ready for some exciting news at the stroke of midnight on the first day of 2011.
"Merry Christmas little monsters! I love you with all my heart. My gift to you is a BORN THIS WAY announcement Midnight on NEW YEARS EVE. -MM," Gaga tweeted.
Back in June, Gaga told Rolling Stone that she would announce the title of the album on New Year's Eve, but that news was already announced at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. However, she also told the magazine, "I think I'm gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo."
No one knows for sure what the news could possibly be. Whether it's the album cover, news of an amazing collaboration or the official dates of the first single or album's release, all her Little Monsters will be glued to Twitter for the final countdown in order to catch Gaga's latest news.
Gaga's already calling her highly anticipated album the best of the decade, and according to Lady-gaga.net, the first single is expected to drop in February or March.
