Jackie Chan lands new comedy role.
Following his announcement that Chinese Zodiac is to be his final action movie, Jackie Chan is to star in and produce a comedy film in the English language, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Chan is to play a detective on the trail of an American gambler who is in serious debt to a casino syndicate in China’s Macau region.
The script is to be penned by Jay Longino and partly financed by production company Talent International Media in Beijing.
A variety of locations are said to be in the pipeline for the movie, such as China, Hong Kong and Eastern Europe.
