Lady Gaga shocked her fans during promotions for her new fragrance at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City.
The 26-year-old singer got a cherub tattooed on the back of her newly shaved head as part of an art-installation, which took place right in front of the attendees.
Adding to her multiple tattoos, the new ink features an angel’s head adorned in a crown with wings. It sits directly in the middle of the Mother Monster’s scalp.
Tattooist Mark Mahoney, who was aided by assistant Wes Brown, said of the new design: "It's kind of a Renaissance era cherub, a nod to her Italian heritage."
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Gaga shaved the back of her head earlier this week in honor of celebrity photographer Terry Richardson’s mother.
