Earlier this week, news broke of an alleged sex tape featuring Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Raymond, but if one porn company gets their way, the video will never be released.
TMZ reports that Vivid Entertainment is looking to stop the tape from being distributed. Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch sent a letter to the 32-year-old crooner offering his service to put the kibosh on the tape, which he claims to have done for other celebs in the same predicament.
"We've learned that a sex video of you and your ex-wife is making its way around the adult industry," reads the letter. "As a result of this being an intimate and very personal tape we can certainly understand why you would want to stop its distribution. We may therefore be able [to] assist you in stopping your own video from any type of circulation."
Although Usher has remained mum about the tape, his ex-wife has spoken out, first denying that a tape even exists, and later took to her Twitter page to brush the whole thing off. "NEWSFLASH!! BREAKING NEWS! GUESS WHAT??!! ▸▸▸ I have copulated w/my husband! O_O. Why is this news again?? #ConfusedTweet. End of discussion." she wrote.
The former couple was married in 2007, against the wishes of Usher's mother, Jonetta Patton. After two years and two young sons, Usher and Tameka called it quits, finalizing their divorce in 2009.
No word yet if Usher will take Vivid up on their offer.
